Where It All Began
Once upon a time there was a girl who loved Christmas—a season filled with family, music, movies, gifts, laughter, trees, candles and twinkling lights - and tiptoeing downstairs with her sisters before their parents awoke to discover what Santa had left. Most important of all, it was a time for celebrating a Baby born in a stable long ago.
There were church programs and school plays, caroling, special yummies, and treasured gifts. Add Rudolph, Frosty, a Christmas train, and a few cantankerous elves—and it was pure magic.
The girl grew up to become a writer and producer of a national television show called Small Town Big Deal, telling stories from across America to inspire us all. She married a fellow named Bob from Hartwell, Georgia, and from their farm near this small town, she dreamed of creating a place that would inspire others and spread the joy and wonder of Christmas all year long.
That girl’s name is Amy… now a shopkeeper.
